What do I Talk About? – Here’s an example of some of the talks I give, but call me and let’s discuss your event and your audience. I like to tailor the topic to each particular group:

Neuro Web Design: What makes them click?
We think that we are reasoning, rational people and that our decisions are made by careful thinking. But the reality is that the website we pick, what we decide to do while there, and whether we buy or not, are decisions and actions that we make in a largely unconscious way. Although some of our decisions on what to buy, and where to buy it from, might come from the rational part of our brain, many of our decisions and actions are based on emotion, and many are based on automatic triggers that we react to from something at the website.

In this talk, Dr. Susan Weinschenk shares the research and insights from her book, exploring and demonstrating what scientists have been discovering about the unconscious and how that can be applied to the design of web sites so that they are persuasive.

Persuasive Presentations: How to Apply Brain Science to Craft and Deliver Compelling Presentations
Whether you are presenting to Executive Management or your colleagues, you want your presentations to be attention getting, compelling and persuasive. You want people to be interested in what you have to say, understand what you are saying, and then take action.
Dr. Susan Weinschenk studies recent research on the brain and neuroscience and in her entertaining and engaging sessions she shares her knowledge of brain science and applies that knowledge to the art and science of creating powerful presentations.

Can we use Brain Science to Make Better Decisions?
We think that we are reasoning, rational people and that our decisions are made by careful thinking. But the reality is that most of your decisions are based on emotion, and many are based on automatic triggers that you react to from something in your environment. Some (even most) of your actions are initiated from parts of your brain that you don’t have conscious access to. Many of your decisions, reactions, and behavior are governed by mental processes of which you are not even aware.
How many times have you thought back on a decision you made and said, “If only…” If you could learn how to make good decisions you would improve your work and personal life. But how should you make decisions? When should you measure alternatives in a logical way? Use your gut intuition?
Dr. Susan Weinschenk studies recent research on the brain and neuroscience and in this entertaining and engaging talk she shares her knowledge of brain science and applies that knowledge to the art and science of making decisions.
