The Science of Motivation
The Science of Motivation — A One Day Hands-on Workshop
How much more effective would you be if you better understood what motivates people? In this fast paced, interactive workshop, you will learn about the latest research on motivation. This is not empty opinion-based ideas; the workshop is based on solid science on what really motivates people. The workshop is hands-on. Not only will you learn about the research, you will experience the results in individual and group activities that drive the point home. It’s fun, it’s interactive, and it’s packed with research and practical take-aways. Here’s a sample of what you will learn:
Intrinsic vs. extrinsic motivation — When people will be motivated by their own internal drives and when they will be motivated by outside factors.
Framing and anchoring – how people are influenced unconsciously by seemingly random information around them
The dopamine loop – How neurotransmitters in the brain affect drives and motivativation
When money is a motivator and when it is not
When is the desire for autonomy more motivating than money
Can you motivate people to change an ingrained habit?
Do individuals have specific drives and motivations, or are we all affected by the same things
Do people have basic motivations that they hold over their entire life or do motivations change
Is there such a thing as team motivation — Can you get a team to be motivated together to reach a goal
Does stress motivate people or does it stop people from moving forward
And much much more!
